Vegetable Tanned Leather

Vegetable Tanned Leather

The end goal is simple. Craft a product that will last a lifetime, and one that ages well.

An inspiring thought of taking our collection a notch higher introduced us to Vegetable Tanned Leather. With a strong inclination to adapt an environment-friendly strategy, we imported a batch of Vegetable Tanned Leather, from Tuscany, Italy to add to our collection of Small Leather Goods. The Leather being one of the highest quality Leathers, is extremely sought after for its visual appeal. Preserving the age-old tradition of Vegetable Tanning, the Tanneries use only natural materials like vegetable tannins to process the Leather. The transformation takes between five to six weeks, but then quality does take time. We then crafted a Leather Sleeve for the MacBook Air M1 using Vegetable Tanned Leather, with quality, exclusivity, heritage and fine design in mind.

What made us choose Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather?

To answer shortly - Our Customers, who have had a shared appreciation for a luxurious look on their products.

Look and Feel :The Leather is soft and develops a natural patina over time. Not too stiff, and not too floppy, the Leather is just about right in terms of temper. The Leather is Dyed Through with an Aniline Finish. Presence of a slight wax content gives it a fine pull up effect. The Leather is soft to touch and hold, and more importantly carries a luxurious smell.
