Shipping policy

Processing times: Since all our products are handmade to order, and are often monogrammed with initials, processing times vary from 1 to 3 business days after receiving your order confirmation email. 

Tracking information: Once we dispatch your order, you would receive another notification with the tracking details. All our shipments are shipped via Express Couriers like FedEx, UPS, DHL that have excellent customer service, with complete tracking information from origin to destination.

While we carefully prepare all paperwork to avoid delays, shipping times may occasionally be affected by factors outside our control, such as weather, flight schedules, or customs clearance

Country wise information on Import Duties & Taxes (if applicable)

United States (U.S.):
U.S. orders include any applicable import tariffs in the price, so no additional fees are due upon delivery. What you see is what you pay — everything is included.

Canada:
For deliveries to Canada, VAT (Goods and Services Tax or applicable provincial taxes) may apply according to Canadian laws.

  • Paying on delivery: The courier will collect VAT along with a small brokerage/handling fee, and a receipt will be provided.

  • All-inclusive price option: If you choose an all-inclusive price, we prepay the courier, eliminating the brokerage/handling fee. VAT is included in the price, and nothing else is payable at delivery. To arrange this, please contact us at hello@outofthefactory.com.

European Union (EU):
When ordering to an EU country, import VAT is charged at your country’s standard rate, the same as local VAT for a domestic purchase.

  • Paying on delivery: The courier (FedEx, DHL, or UPS) will collect import VAT along with a small brokerage/handling fee. For orders over €150, a small customs duty may also apply, typically around 2–3%.

  • All-inclusive price option: By choosing an all-inclusive price, we prepay the courier, eliminating the brokerage/handling fee. United Kingdom (UK):
When ordering to the UK, import VAT is charged at the standard UK rate, the same as domestic VAT for local purchases.

Switzerland:
Orders to Switzerland are subject to import VAT at 8.1%, the country’s standard rate, the same as domestic VAT for local purchases.

Australia:
For orders under AUD $1000, no VAT, duties, or additional charges are typically due upon delivery.

New Zealand:
Items valued at NZD $1000 or less can generally be imported without incurring VAT or customs duties.

United Arab Emirates (UAE):
VAT and customs clearance fees may apply in accordance with UAE laws. Customs charges vary by country and are beyond the seller’s control.

Rest of the World:
Duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply depending on your country’s import regulations. These are usually payable to the courier upon delivery and are the responsibility of the recipient.
